Office of Alumni Affairs and External Relations

The Office of Alumni Affairs and External Relations in IIT Guwahati has been created to facilitate the interaction of the institute with its alumni and to encourage and develop academic, industrial and research collaborations and contacts with other organizations.

A brief summary of the activities where we can be of help is given below.

• Alumni Affairs

• MOUs with other universities and institutions

• Handling applications from foreign students

• Nodal Office for handling interactions with external organizations, including external publicity, collection of responses and decisions on actions that need to be taken. It will also serve as the nodal office for handling interactions between external organizations and the offices of the Dean of Academic Affairs, Dean of Research and Development and the various academic departments and centres of the institute

• Processing and handling requests for funding from external agencies, travel support from external agencies and requests of students for support from external agencies for festivals and other activities

• Participation in exhibitions and fairs by IIT Guwahati
