The students at the Dept. of Civil Engineering, IIT Guwahati, involve themselves actively in extensive research in centre, state and private sponsored research projects. The North-East Indian territories owe a lot to the people at IITG since we contribute so much of technological and scientific knowledge for its development.

This also comes as a part of IITG's duty to its nation, and it as always proves itself effcient.
