1. Provide technical support to the Participating Institutes attached to it.
   
2. Offer M.Tech in Computer Science with specialisation in Information Security.
   
3. Offer PhD program in Information Security.
   
4. Offer B.Tech & M.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Communication/ Computers disciplines retrofitted with Information Security courses.
   
5. Organise Annual Appraisal workshop for Participating Institutes attached to it.
   
6. Organise International Conferences .
   
7. Information Security Education Exchange Programme (optional). (i.e Invite experts from Universities / Industries/ Govt. organisations within India and from other countries)
