Algorithms for Predator, in Prey-Predator Existence Model of Bio-Inspired Robotics

Abstract of project:

The zoological study of animal behavior is referred as ethology. Ethologists and researchers have now taken particular interest in the evolution of genetically-programmed behaviors & turned to artificial intelligence to solve this problem. The aim of the project is to observe the co-existence behavior of both prey and predator in the environment.
In the Predator-Prey Model, the predator would chase the prey, and the prey would try to escape. Our goal is develop algorithms for the predator robot to hunt and catch the prey robot in Prey-Predator existence model of Bio-Inspired Robotics.
The novelty lies in the strategies for hunting and catching the prey robot, where different strategies are developed and merged together to form predator robot behavior against the prey robot in a particular environment.
