TEACHING PORTFOLIO - Assignments done by UG & PG students.

Samples of basic, intermediate and graduate level designs done by students in specific assignments given as part of courses imparting fundamentals to advanced thinking & doing skills. The objective was to impart creative thinking ability, hand skills, spatial composition skills and aesthetic sensitivity in predominantly technology / engineering oriented students learning to become either Product and Visual communication designers or product design engineers. The emphasis was on creative problem solving, innovative thinking & engineering with aesthetic sensitivity. Pedagogic emphasis was on conceptualization, articulation, verbalization of mental concepts, pictorial communication and presentation by the design student at the foundation level. Creativity and innovation was emphasized in the intermediate level exercises. The graduate level projects concentrated on synthesis , engineering and problem solving skills of the student. The following randomly selected works are credited to a few of the 500 students’ works totaling to more than a thousand samples in the archives.
