
The conference venue is the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), India. The IITG campus is on a sprawling 285 hectares plot on the lower Himalayan valley and is situated on the north bank of river Brahmaputra around 20 kms. from the heart of the city. With the majestic Brahmaputra on one side, and with hills and vast open spaces on the other, the campus provides an ideal setting for learning. Guwahati city is well connected to all the major cities of India by rail, road and air.
Assam (Asom, Axom) is a beautiful and diverse state with an incredible range of cultures and landscapes located in the northeast of India. It shares it’s borders in the North and East with the Kingdom of Bhutan and Arunachal Pradesh. Along the south lies Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram. Meghalaya lies to her South-West, Bengal and Bangladesh to her West. You can experience a very rich variety of flora and fauna around the area.
