Associated Lab
Open Source Intelligence Lab, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, founded in the year 2014 with the objective of conducting research on deriving actionable intelligence from freely available social media data, and developing various tools. Since the inception of the Lab, it has successfully executed several sponsored projects. The lab aims at becoming a leading research and development Lab in the area of social media data mining globally and become a nodal center for social media related research in north east India. The Lab is equipped with several high end CPU and GPU servers, including of Intel Xeon E5-2670 v3 @2.3 GHz x 2 24 Cores, 48 Threads, Intel Xeon E5530 @2.4 GHz x 2, 8 Cores, 16 Threads, Intel Xeon E5-2620 v4 @ 2.10GHz x 2, 16 Cores, 32 Threads, Intel Xeon E5-2620 v4 @ 2.10GHz x 2, 16 Cores, 32 Threads high end servers, 150 TB NAS storage, 16 GB GPU servers, Spark Clustering, Cassandra cluster etc.
