HRUSO (Aka)

The Akas belong to the Mongoloid stock. Their skin complexion is fair with a yellowish brown tint.

Geographical Location

The Akas, also called the Hruso’s , occupy the western portion of Arunachal Pradesh. Their area can be described as situated on the northern bank of Brahmaputra, which again is beyond the territory of  Dirang District. They are also present in the west Kameng district in close proximity with other tribes of Arunachal Pradesh.
