MONPA

Monpas are decidedly of Tibeto-Mongoloid stock with prominent cheek bones, nose raised but broadened at the nasals and the eyes are of Mongoloid type. In agriculture the Monpas are the  most advanced of tribes in Arunachal Pradesh.

Geographical Location

Monpas occupy the western tip of Arunachal Pradesh. The Monpas are spread throughout the district of Tawang, Dirang valley, Singte valley and Kalaktang area in the west Kameng district.
