BAJA 2012 - TEAM "SRIJAN"

BAJA SAEIndia is an inter collegiate competition to design build and race an off-road All Terrain Vehicle(ATV) that can withstand the harsh elements of rough terrain. After successful completion of JK Tyre Sponsored BAJA SAEINDIA 2011, SAEINDIA is now organising BAJA SAEINDIA 2012 scheduled on 17th-19th February 2012 at Pithampur, Indore. Team SRIJAN have qualified through the first round called virtual BAJA of the competition and is on its way to build the ATV. It is the most reputed automobile event in INDIA and is conducted on a 3.5 Km racing track in the premises of NATRAX(NATIONAL AUTOMOTIVE TEST TRACK) near Indore. The prizes are worth over 40 Lakhs.

Virtual Baja

Team SRIJAN went to bangalore to participate in the prelims of the BAJA-2012 and successfully qualified for the final round. The prelims is named virtual BAJA and has its own prestige in national level competitions for mechanical engineers. Our design was made very accurately and innovatively that the judges who inspected our design in bangalore were impressed very much. the image that you see above is wholly designed by us in solidworks for the virtual round.
