''I call that person and cry: `This life is blest! For your sake such miles have I traversed!' All those others who came close and moved off In the darkness - I don't know if they exist or not.'' - Rabindranath Tagore
I have born and bought up at the outskirt of the city of Kolkata. I have completed my schooling from Belghoria High School, and joined Department of Information Technology, Jadavpur University for Bachelor of Engineering course. After that I joined Department of CSE, IIT Guwahati.
I am not a professional photographer or painter. But I like photography and painting. I like to capture the nature and the lifestyle of the people during my travels to several places. At the time of leisure, I recollect the beautiful moments of the past from those photographs and paintings.
Travelling, specially on the laps of the great Himalayan regions, is my hobby. Every year I travel at least once to a place at the Himalaya. It is the nature, the wild-life, the simple and humble peoples, lush green bugyals, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, glaceirs and obviously the snow caped mountains.
