Academic Qualification: PhD in Cultural Affinites Between Southeast Asia and Northeast India during   Prehistoric Times with special reference to Garo hills, Meghalaya from the Department of Archaeology, Deccan College PG & Research Institute, Pune, 2002

Teaching and Research:

  1. Assistant Professor in IIT Guwahati from May’2006 till present.
  2. Senior Fellow in the Centre for Northeast India, South and Southeast Asia Studies, A Ford Foundation funded Centre under Omeo Kumar Das Institute of Social Change and Development, Guwahati from January 2004 to April2006.
  3. Fellow in the Centre for Archaeological Studies and Training, Eastern India from July 2002 to December 2003.
  4. Lecturer, Dept. of Anthropology, North Guwahati College, Guwahati.
