Tamal Kumar Guha

I am an assistant librarian of Central Library (CL) at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India(IITG). I completed my Fulbright Visiting Research program at Information Institute of Syracuse (IIS) of Syracuse University (SU) on 15th March, 2006 and joined my duties to IIT Guwahati.

Recently I worked on the cultural and international issues of Virtual Reference Service. A draft article is now ready on these issues.

As a part of my Fellowship I audited two courses-

  • Digital Libraries (IST 676, Spring 2006, Instructor: Joanne Silverstein)
  • Planning and Designing Digital Libraries (IST 759, Spring 2006, Instructor: David Lankes)
